Patrol Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Patrol Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within assigned areas. This position requires a proactive individual who is skilled in surveillance, conflict management, and law enforcement practices. The Patrol Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter and detect signs of criminal activity or disturbances.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Engage with the public in a professional manner, addressing concerns and providing assistance when needed.
• Document incidents and prepare detailed reports for further investigation or review.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as required to ensure community safety.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
• Maintain knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

• Valid certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems.
• Proven ability in conflict management and de-escalation tactics.
• Familiarity with loss prevention practices is an asset.
• Must possess a strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
• A military background is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
