Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Seasonal Front Office Assistant to join our team for the 2025 Tax Season. This position will work from 3-8 PM Monday - Thursday and 3-6 PM on Fridays. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily office operations, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. The Office Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional service while managing various administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
- Answer phone calls and manage phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
- Greet clients and visitors at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Assemble Income Tax Returns, Payroll Returns, Etc
- Corresponding with staff as needed to communicate any necessary information from clients.
- Navigate software information systems required to complete the assembly of Income Tax Returns
- Maintain confidentiality when handling client documentation.
Experience
- Previous experience as an administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer support skills with a focus on providing excellent service.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and maintaining phone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with clients, colleagues, and management.
