What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver/ Front Desk Assistant position at Cassia?
Join our compassionate team at Apple Valley Villa as a Caregiver/ Front Desk Assistant! In this role, you will answer and transfer phone calls and provide routine nursing care and services to our residents. We will provide FREE training for this entry-level position!
This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position working 40 hours every 2 weeks including every other weekend.
Part-Time Shifts: Night (11:00pm to 7:00am)
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 / hour depending on experience
What does a Caregiver/ Front Desk Assistant do?
- Provide routine nursing care and services to our residents.
- Administer medications to residents as needed.
- Communicate any resident concerns with licensed nursing staff.
- Assist in resident emergencies.
- Answer and transfer incoming phone calls.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
- Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification preferred, but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English fluently.
- Strong computer skills.
- Work well with others.
- Med Passer experience
