In this position, you will be able to gain valuable knowledge and experience. Our Dietary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by the staff and residents alike. Your passion for cooking and serving nutritious and appetizing meals will be highly valued by our residents.
There are Full-Time positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend. The Full-Time Position would be working as both Cook and Culinary Assistant;
Hours: 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
What does a Cook/ Culinary Assistant do?
- Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
- Prepare and assist cooking all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
- Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
- Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
- Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
- Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What does a Cook/ Culinary Assistant require?
- Prior restaurant or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Selected candidates will be required to pass a background check.
