Harmony Gardens is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Worker to join our team in our brand-new building in Maplewood, MN. In this role, you will help maintain our beautiful facility and make a difference in our residents' lives. Our ideal candidate is friendly, positive, and has an outgoing personality.
Our campus opened in December 2022 and is only 2 miles away from Maplewood Mall, beautiful parks (Hazelwood and Harvest Park), and a variety of dining options. Our new state-of-the-art senior living community includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and long-term care options.
This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working 64 hours per 2 week pay period. No weekends!
Pay Range: $19.04 - $22.89 / hour depending on experience

Maintenance Worker responsibilities:
- Provides carpet and floor care in residents rooms and common areas.
- Disposes of trash from common areas and resident rooms.
- Additional duties may include cleaning windows, moving and arranging furniture.
- Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
- Follow scheduled maintenance program.
- Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.
- Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
- Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
- Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Maintenance Worker skills/ requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Prior custodial and maintenance experience.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
- Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.
- Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
