Elim Wellspring Assisted Living, a premier 30 unit facility in Princeton, is seeking an exceptional RN to serve as our Assistant Director of Health Services. We offer a healthy work-life balance, which is essential for our leaders. Our after-hours nurses provide support to staff working evenings, nights, and weekends.
This is a Full-Time, benefit-eligible position working 4 days a week from 8:30am to 4:30pm, with no weekends or holidays. You may be required to work on the floor if needed. The pay range is $30 to $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for residents, including every 90 days for assessments and care conferences as needed.
- Recognize and manage common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults, such as cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory, and pain problems.
- Supervise caregivers, oversee block schedules, assist with scheduling, and may need to work on the floor as needed.
- Administer medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitor for effectiveness/response.
- Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- Notify the Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition and take follow-up action as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Skills and Requirements:
- A current Minnesota Registered Nurse license is required. Current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications are also necessary.
- Assisted Living/Memory Care experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- You must be a self-starter with a desire to be part of a team.
