Objective
We are looking for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate for Cassidy Tire & Service. The primary focus is the delivery of product to customers ensuring customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and professional interaction. The Delivery Driver is responsible for providing timely transportation of products from origin to destination as assigned, along with unloading and staging products at customer’s place of business. Expected to maintain professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving, while providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships. In addition the Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for helping out in the Warehouse as needed.
Responsibilities
Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned.
Assist in verification of all outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount, and type.
Collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to Company.
Ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies delivery.
Maintain professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving.
Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including drivers logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records and other records required by law and Company policy.
Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles (forklift, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.)
Qualifications
3 years of driving experience required (commercial vehicles).
Must be 18 years of age
Must possess a valid Class C or Class D license, required by the Department of Transportation.
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior work experience sufficient to work under general supervision.
Must be able to move, locate, stack, count and sort inventory is required.
You must be able to load and unload various tires and sizes is required.
It is critical for this individual to be able to delivery products safely to customers in a time efficient manner.
Must be able to pick-up tires, and wheel from customers location, writing it up properly to ensure quality control.
Must be able to lift 100lbs repeatedly.
Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) required.
Ability to identify and address root causes when solving problems. Work collaboratively with other departments and functional teams to coordinate effective solutions.
Since this is a delivery role, this individual must be able to travel 75% of the time.
Proficiency in English (written and verbal skills) required.
