π CMM Operator / Inspector - Non-Ferrous Foundry & Machine Shop π Location: Cast Technologies | π Full-Time | π Manufacturing / Quality Control
We're hiring a CMM Operator / Inspector to join our growing quality team in a non-ferrous foundry and machine shop. If you have a keen eye for detail and experience inspecting cast and machined components, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Operate CMM equipment to perform precise dimensional inspections
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T
- Use manual measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
- Document and report inspection results accurately
- Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve discrepancies
What You Bring:
- 2 years of CMM operation and inspection experience
- Familiarity with non-ferrous castings (aluminum, brass, bronze preferred)
- Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical drawings
- Experience with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar - basic use)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
