Job Summary:

Castalia Systems is seeking a Technical Writer in the Reston, VA area to provide technical assistance for our customer's efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with all organizational stakeholders and product owners to create and publish various technical and business documents in official agency format to include:
  • Functional Requirements Document (FRD)
  • Marketing materials
  • Executive briefings/slide
  • White papers
  • Promotional items, videos, posters, briefings, and talking points
  • Knowledge of a variety of software applications and tools
• Provide editorial support of publications and products
• Experience in QC/QA of final publication and classification standards as provided by specific organizational and community guidelines.
• Experience in documenting accepted business practices, organizational workflows, and formatting and style standards relevant to the production process.
• Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; required to communicate with executive level civilian and military management staff on complex technical issues
• Ability to undertake research, identify opportunities from data analysis and present findings in a concise manner to a diverse stakeholder group
• Present data in a professional manner through scorecards, dashboards, and infographics
• Practical knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)

Required Qualifications:

• 4-10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree.
• Collection Management Officer (CMO) position in the HUMINT world, title 10 and 50 and critical path scheduling.
• DOD and IC experience.
