Job Goal
The High School Office Manager provides administrative support to the principal, faculty, and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the school office. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in education
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Core Job Functions:
- Provide administrative assistance to the principal, including preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Manage the school office, ensuring it runs efficiently and effectively. This includes managing office supplies and maintaining the school's filing system.
- Work with Human Resources on job postings, references, and processing
- Coordinate scheduling for students, teachers, and staff, including class schedules, meetings, and events.
- Communicate and work with parents, students and staff with problems not requiring administrator’s attention.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting, including state and federal reporting requirements.
- Assist with the school's safety and security protocols are followed, including emergency procedures and crisis management.
- Assist with budgeting and purchasing, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and processing invoices.
- Assist with coordinating school events
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
- Perform all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed
