What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales and Estimating Coordinator position at Caster Concepts, Inc?
Overview: Aerol is seeking a motivated, talented, and focused Inside Sales and Estimating Team Member to drive customer onboarding, happiness, engagement, and retention. As part of the Customer Service Team, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers and ensuring their continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work customer accounts according to their defined account management action plans.
- Engage with customers regularly via emails, phone calls, etc., to build relationships and ensure continued success.
- Mine existing customer lists for customers with decreased purchases and work to rebuild relationships.
Estimating and Quoting:
- Write all quotes and estimate job costs accurately using ERP pricing models.
- Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to extract necessary information for accurate cost estimation and quoting.
- Discuss pricing strategy of upcoming quotes to find the best way to close the sale and develop the customer.
Collaboration with Outside Sales Reps:
- Collaborate with outside sales reps to maintain their schedule, including:
- Data gathering about the customer and their likely needs and potential.
- Setting the upfront contract and documenting it.
- Confirming appointments and the upfront contract.
- Enter all data into Salesforce and actively maintain the opportunities list on a daily basis.
- Assist outside sales reps in documenting results of customer conversations, face-to-face meetings, and open opportunity status notes.
- Collect data on prospects disqualified or orders lost.
Daily Tasks:
- Make 20 outbound dials per day.
- Send 20 prospecting emails per day.
- Maintain an up-to-date task list in Salesforce.
- Complete all quotes as necessary.
- Handle inbound phone calls, emails, live chats, etc.
Required Skills:
- Cost Estimation: Ability to estimate job costs accurately by analyzing blueprints, material requirements, and labor costs.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to assist in quoting and customer inquiries.
- Basic Engineering Knowledge: Understanding of engineering principles relevant to product specifications and requirements to effectively communicate with the engineering support team and customers.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with outside sales partners, the sales leadership team, engineering support team, customers, and prospects.
- Ability to take prospects through the Caster Concepts sales process to qualify and define the potential of the prospect.
- A natural curiosity about prospects and customers – their businesses, challenges, and roles in their organization – to better understand how CCI fits into their needs.
Organization and Documentation:
- Excellent organizational skills and maintaining an online visible calendar of events for the outside sales partner.
- Process quotations in a timely manner and clearly document activities and interactions with prospects and customers.
- Ability to properly use the upfront contract when setting face-to-face appointments and clearly document points in writing for both the outside sales rep and the prospect/customer.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
