Job Summary:
The Parts Hanger is responsible for efficiently and accurately hanging parts in preparation for the powder coating process. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and clear communication with team members to ensure that production goals and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Parts Preparation & Handling: Hang parts onto appropriate hooks or racks for the powder coating process, ensuring they are properly positioned for even coating.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts for defects or irregularities before hanging to ensure only acceptable materials are processed.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure precise handling and placement of each part, maintaining consistent quality in preparation for coating.
- Independent Work: Operate efficiently with minimal supervision while adhering to work schedules and maintaining a high standard of productivity.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow, address issues, and meet production goals.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain Production Efficiency: Ensure that parts are hung in a timely manner, contributing to meeting production targets without compromising quality.
- Reporting Issues: Promptly report any issues related to equipment, parts, or safety concerns to supervisors.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: High level of focus to ensure the correct handling and preparation of parts for coating.
- Independent Worker: Ability to work autonomously while ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Team Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, lift, and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Previous Experience: Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus, but not required.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols in an industrial setting.

- Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry parts up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
