Production Operator - Reaction Industries

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Production Operator to join our team. This role involves operating machinery, ensuring product quality, handling materials, adhering to safety protocols, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with team members. The ideal candidate will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of production processes, while maintaining a safe and productive environment. This role may involve performing a variety of tasks across different areas of production based on business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Machinery Operation:

• Set up and operate machinery for production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Make adjustments to machinery as needed to ensure efficient operation.

Quality Control:

• Inspect products at various stages to ensure quality standards are met.
• Document and report any issues, and take corrective actions as required.

Material Handling:

• Move materials and products within the facility using appropriate equipment.
• Follow best practices to prevent damage and ensure safety.

Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Report any significant equipment issues for further attention.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine performance.
• Track productivity and document any incidents or maintenance needs.

Team Collaboration:

• Work with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
• Communicate effectively and coordinate tasks across different departments.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Basic mechanical skills for routine equipment maintenance.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Physical ability to lift materials and handle equipment safely.

Physical/Safety Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the day.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
