Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, providing support and implementing behavioral therapy strategies. Your primary focus will be to assist clients in achieving their personal goals through applied behavior analysis techniques while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Collect and record data on client behavior for diagnostic evaluation and research purposes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote skill development and social interaction.
- Monitor client progress and report findings to supervisors or relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in training new staff members on behavioral therapy techniques and protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral therapy or applied behavior analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient care standards is essential.
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong observational skills for accurate data collection and reporting.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
