As a Service Drive Vehicle Acquisition Specialist , you will play a crucial role in growing our used vehicle inventory by identifying acquisition opportunities within the dealership’s service drive . Your responsibilities include :
- Prospecting & Lead Generation : Engage with customers in the service drive, identifying those who may be open to selling or trading in their vehicle.
- Vehicle Appraisals : Inspect and evaluate vehicles on-site, utilizing tools like CarFax, vAuto, and KBB Instant Cash Offer to determine market value.
- Customer Engagement & Education : Build rapport with service customers, educating them on market trends and the benefits of selling or trading in their vehicle.
- Negotiation & Deal Closing : Present competitive offers, address customer concerns, and negotiate trade-ins or direct purchases.
- Market Analysis & Pricing : Stay up to date on used car market trends, competitor pricing, and demand to ensure competitive acquisition strategies.
- Coordination with Sales & Service Teams : Work closely with the sales department to transition interested customers into new or pre-owned vehicle sales and with the service department to coordinate appraisals.
- Log & Track Acquisition Efforts : Maintain records of outreach, appraisals, and customer follow-ups to maximize acquisition success.
