A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Lab, Laboratory Technician,

A typical day for a Lab Technician involves a range of tasks crucial for maintaining efficient laboratory operations. This includes managing inventory by monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and creating purchase orders. The technician is also responsible for processing received orders and reviewing and approving invoices to ensure accuracy and proper inventory counts. Additionally, the role involves providing essential support to the laboratory by stocking supplies and assisting with the preparation of reagents, thereby ensuring that the lab remains well-equipped and operational.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or enrolled in college classes with excellent GPA.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and EXCEL
  • Proven flexibility and dependable performance
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Laboratory Technician is required.
  • Actively displays behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences.
• Preferred Requirements
  • MLT (AA) recommended, not required

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional weekends as needed at our lab in Phoenix, AZ.
