What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dealership Cashier position at Castle Chevrolet North?
Do you have experience stocking cars at a dealership? Do you enjoy helping others and working on multiple projects at once? We're hiring an Inventory Control Clerk/Cashier to join our team at Castle Chevrolet North.
Hours: 7am - 4pm (with 1 hour lunch) or 7am - 3:30pm (with 30 minute lunch)
Inventory Control Clerk/Cashier Responsibilities
- Answer dealership group phones, greet and receive prospects and customers
- Stock in vehicles
- Receive and manage payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits from customers who have had their vehicles serviced at the dealership.
- Scans service and parts documents
- Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduce the customer to the salesperson
- Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
- Assist in scheduling and confirming sales appointments
- Other duties as assigned
Inventory Control Clerk/Cashier Qualifications

At least 2 years of dealership inventory and cashier experience
- Experience working with CDK (team will train on software)
- Ability to work the hours listed
- Warranty Administrator experience is a plus

Familiarity with dealership processes and systems
- Ability to multi-task

Desire to jump in to support the team wherever there's a need

Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality

Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
