We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our construction team. The Pipelayer will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation of pipelines while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Excavate trenches for pipeline installation using equipment such as front loaders and backhoes.
- Lay, align, and install pipes for water, sewage, or gas systems.
- Ensure proper plumbing and alignment of pipelines to meet project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to assess project requirements and timelines.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed for pipeline support structures.
- Conduct regular inspections of installed pipelines to ensure integrity and compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate loaders and other heavy machinery as required for digging and moving materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pipelaying or related construction roles.
- Proficiency in operating front loader trucks, backhoes, and other heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of pipeline installation techniques, including digging, plumbing, and concrete forming.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications accurately.
- Familiarity with safety standards in construction environments, particularly in oil and gas sectors.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the workday.
