Walkthrough Coordinator/ Lot tech
Our dealership in Logan, UT is currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and organized Walkthrough Coordinator for our busy sales and prep areas. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, able to work at a fast pace, and can be self- sufficient. Automotive or RV dealership experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. Candidates must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean, insurable, driving record and a polished, professional appearance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who wants to learn the RV business. It is also an excellent opportunity for one day becoming an RV Technician or RV Salesperson.
Job Description:
The Walkthrough Coordinator will cover walkthrough orientation, showing new owners how to use their new RV and advise on parts and accessories that may be helpful for their camping trips. They will also assist with Forklift duties such as: manage and maintain sales lot, park new units in place, keep units lined up and organized, and make sure the lot is presentable along with various other tasks such as helping out the detail and service department with anything they need help with. Washing and detailing interiors and exteriors of trailers/motorhomes as needed while being a team player to help all departments succeed. Primary Focus will be to do all customer orientation walkthroughs and provide an outstanding experience for our customers but we need someone who is always prepared to help out in other departments as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete walkthrough orientation with customers
- Move vehicles about the yard and into the shop for service and/or prep
- Maintain the overall order and appearance of the area; keep buildings clean
- Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt
- Parks vehicles in assigned areas; moves sold vehicles to maximize space
- Bring vehicles to the prep department, as scheduled
- Clean up and maintain overall appearance of the dealership’s service and prep areas
- Wash the outside of units and clean interiors, if needed
Education & Experience:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Polished and Professional Appearance
- Forklift Experience
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Willingness to learn and multi-task
- Ability and willingness to work outside
- Interest in RV dealership industry
