What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk agent- overnight position at Castle Hill Resort & Spa?
Primary duties of the Front Desk / Guest Service Agent: answer phones, reserve and manage existing hotel reservations, greet and register guests, provide prompt and courteous services, and close out guest accounts upon completion of stay. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse challenging situations, collect accurate information and help resolve conflicts.
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of hotels or motels.
- Make and confirm reservations.
- Review accounts and charges with guests during the check out process.
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment.
