Description
The highly acclaimed Carriage House Restaurant is located in the historic stables at Castle in the Clouds, a 1914 mountaintop estate in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire. It offers a quaint and vintage atmosphere, offering dining in the stable’s original horse stalls as well as on the outdoor terrace, which boasts a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding lakes and mountains. We are looking for a busser/food runner who is attentive to customers and coworkers so that the guests dining in the restaurant have the best experience possible. Cleaning tables, and chairs, quickly removing dirty dishes, and resetting tables are all part of a busser's day.
The ideal candidate will be able to stay with us the entire season, through the end of October.
Qualifications
· Must be 15 years or older
· Friendly, polite and courteous to all patrons
· Willing to learn basic restaurant tasks
· Able to run food to specified tables
· Physically able to wipe down tables, pick up debris from the ground and use a broom
· Ability to work well with others of all ages
· Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to
· Clear and clean tables between guest services, taking plates, utensils and drinkware to the kitchen to be washed
· Assisting Dishwasher dry and stack dishes into the appropriate area
· Running food to specified table and ensuring that is correct
· Serving water to guests and refilling beverages as needed
· Pick up debris from under tables and surrounding ground areas
· Removing trash and recycling; replacing trash bags
· Following and maintaining all sanitation and safety procedures
· Additional duties may include assisting kitchen staff with closing kitchen and cleaning kitchen surfaces
· Other duties are assigned by Restaurant Manager or Executive Chef
