Description
The highly acclaimed Carriage House Restaurant is located in the historic stables at Castle in the Clouds, a 1914 mountaintop estate in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire. It offers a quaint and vintage atmosphere, offering dining in the stable’s original horse stalls as well as on the outdoor terrace, which boasts a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding lakes and mountains. We are looking for a dishwasher with enthusiastic desire to work in a fast paced environment as a team to curate an excellent experience for all guests. Ideal candidate will be able to stay with us the entire season, through the end of October.
Qualifications
· Must be 16 years or older
· Willingness to learn basic restaurant tasks
· Multi-tasking skills in a fast paced environment
· Ability to follow instructions and help with various task when needed
· Demonstrates good judgement, problem solving and decision making skills
· Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Collecting used dishes, plates and utensils loading the washing machine and staking wash items appropriately
o Wash specific items by hand such as (Large pots, frying pans, and delicate plate ware)
o Maintain a clean and orderly condition in kitchen work areas.
o Maintain cleaning supplies (detergents, sponges), stock when necessary and inform manager if need ordering
o Check washing machine, inform if any technical/Mechanical issues have aroused during shift
· Help during service to maintain food inventory, such as restocking items from walk in
o Removal of trash and recycling regularly, replacing the bags
o Proper cleaning and sanitizing of the dish area at the end of the shift including the floor
· Additional duties will be assigned by Executive Chef
