Job Title: Market Manager - On/Off Premise (FL)
Location: Tampa, Florida
Reports to: Regional Sales Director
Castle & Key Distillery is a rapidly growing, innovative company known for crafting premium spirits at our historic Kentucky distillery. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Market Manager to join our team and help drive the growth of our Castle & Key Spirits portfolio in Florida.
As the Market Manager for Castle & Key, you will be responsible for securing new distribution points, identifying in-account growth opportunities, and increasing market velocity in the on-premise and off-premise channels. You will collaborate with our distributor partners to ensure that depletion and distribution goals are met while working closely with the Regional Sales Director to develop and execute local sales plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management: Achieve sales depletion and revenue targets within your territory and key accounts. Manage T&E budget effectively.
- Distributor & Account Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, and customers. Drive growth by securing new placements, displays, and expanding existing relationships.
- Strategic Execution: Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to develop and implement quarterly sales programs and localized initiatives in alignment with the National Sales Plan.
- Market Insights & Reporting: Share market trends and competitive insights, ensuring Castle & Key maintains a strong market position. Complete pricing surveys and ensure the brand remains competitive in the region.
- Brand & Category Education: Educate distributors, key accounts, and consumers about the Castle & Key brand, products, and the unique qualities that set us apart.
- Event Execution: Attend and lead tastings, sales meetings, and industry events. Represent the brand authentically and professionally at all times.
- General Management: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information. Support company goals and complete assigned projects.
Key Requirements:
- Proven ability to achieve ambitious sales goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- 3 years of experience in the beverage alcohol and/or beverage industry with a proven track record in sales and relationship management.
- Strong understanding of consumer and market trends in the spirits industry.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience executing sales plans, managing budgets, and delivering presentations.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Google Apps, MS Word, Excel, VIP, Concur, and similar software tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field of study.
