We are looking to add a dynamic Accounting Manager to our Team. The ideal candidate is someone with at least three (3) years' experience in a similar role or a role with growing responsibilities. Experience in a retail company with high volume inventory turns is preferred.
Responsibilities:

- Accounts Payable –
- Enter invoices timely & accurately, with appropriate approvals
- Perform 3-way match for inventory purchases
- Pay bills in accordance with vendor negotiated terms
- Prepare wire payments as needed
- Reconcile vendor statements and research/resolve any payment discrepancies
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal customers and vendors by timely responding to all inquiries
- Assist with month end reconciliations as needed
- General Accounting –
- Back up Payroll function to cover time off
- Assist Controller with month end duties as needed
- Prepare cash flow forecasting in conjunction with Controller
- Assist with negotiating pricing for non-inventory services such as freight
- Support Controller with other daily functions as needed
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Minimum 3-year relevant experience in similar role
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, high volume work environment
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions
- Proactive, can-do attitude with strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical capabilities including at least intermediate MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Autonomous, pro-active, and results focused
- Able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Eagle/Epicor is a HUGE plus!
Scheduling Requirements / Working Conditions: Up to 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts
- 100% onsite
- Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
- Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering financial information into a computer.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours to meet critical deadlines if needed
