Kitchen and Housekeeping Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for our students and staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to cleanliness and teamwork, ensuring that all kitchen and public areas are well-maintained throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lunches and snacks to classrooms
• Collect and wash all dirty dishes, ensuring proper hygiene
• Dispose of leftover food items from classrooms responsibly
• Maintain a clean and disinfected kitchen at all times
• Organize and manage kitchen storage cabinets
• Clean and disinfect communal areas including the lobby, vestibule, library, music room, and public restrooms throughout the day
• Ensure laundering duties are completed efficiently
• Provide support in classrooms as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or housekeeping role is preferred

This position requires availability from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute lunch break.
