Position Overview:
Golf Course Greenkeepers are key team members in the Golf Course Maintenance Department who participate in all tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course and grounds at Castle Pines Golf Club. Common greenkeeper tasks are mowing, trimming, raking, and cleaning of the grounds.
Position Responsibilities:
There are four levels of Greenkeeper at Castle Pines Golf Club with varying responsibilities and duties.
Greenkeeper 1: Entry level, no experience required. Will be trained on various maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, debris removal, and raking bunkers.
Greenkeeper 2: Minimum 1 year experience in golf course maintenance required. Should have a basic understanding of golf course areas and equipment operation. Will be expected to complete basic maintenance tasks along with tasks related to equipment operation.
Greenkeeper 3: Multiple years of experience in golf course maintenance required. Should be able to operate most common golf course machinery and perform daily maintenance tasks efficiently with minimal direction.
Greenkeeper 4: Multiple years of experience in golf course maintenance required. Should be able to operate most common golf course machinery and perform daily maintenance tasks efficiently. Participates in specialized maintenance tasks such as golf course set up, aerification, irrigation system repair and management. Highest level of greenkeeper without formal education.

Requirements
- Possess a positive attitude and the ability to take direction and follow instructions.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
- Available for work beginning as early as 5:00 am in the summer months.
- Available for some weekend shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 3 to 4 hours).
