OVERVIEW:
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be the face of HR to our many employees. In addition, your impeccable attention to detail will help you handle the day-to-day operational workflow for HR. In other words, you should be able to barrel through daily tasks like data entry, filing and auditing like a pro while still maintaining a very positive attitude for visitors to the office. Confidentiality and discretion are key in this position as you will be working closely with private employee and company information. This role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their HR career, or for someone ready to take control and ensure the efficient operation of the Human Resources office for the long term.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain all personnel files through the weekly filing and logging of all pertinent information.
- Answer multi-line telephone within two rings, convey messages and answer simple questions.
- Collects, distributes and sorts internal/external office mail and manage HR inboxes.
- Maintain central filing for common forms and replenish HR forms inside and outside the office.
- Complete all preemployment paperwork and background checks for new hires.
- Prepares packets for new hire processing, new hire orientation and other misc. training and HR materials.
- Enter all new hire information into HRIS system.
- Processing change of address, change of name, change of marital status, etc.
- Monitors and maintains employee programs including birthday & anniversary listings and cards, bulletin boards and other postings as appropriate.
- Handles all verbal and written verification of employment and post-employment.
- Maintain associate locker/parking pass processes and conduct locker audits.
- Processes purchase orders and expense reports.
- Assist applicants with online applications and questions.
- Assist employees as needed by answering simple questions or forwarding to appropriate team member.
- Maintains clean, organized HR office.
- Decorate HR and Associate Cafeteria and assist with property wide celebrations.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships.
- Comply with quality assurance standards.
- Follow company and department policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; wear nametag; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
