What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transporter position at Castle Senior Living at Forest Hills?
We are looking for a dedicated resident transporter in a Long-Term Care setting. Your primary responsibility is to accompany and assist residents to and from their medical appointments. Along the way, you should ensure they are comfortable and provide them with friendly companionship.
To be successful in this role, you should have good physical stamina and excellent time-management skills. Top candidates will also be great communicators who can uplift patients with their presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Accompanying residents to and from medical appointments
- Assists residents, whether ambulatory or non-ambulatory
- Observing and monitoring Residents
- Presenting medical conditions and concerns to the healthcare provider, and accurately reporting medical information from the healthcare provider back to the residential team
- Assist with patients positioning and mobility
- Plays a key role in patient care and patient safety
- Maintain confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
REQUIREMENTS:
- Occasional heavy lifting may be required.
- Ability to follow the Plan of Care precisely
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Valid photo id

Pay: $16.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
