Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. As an ideal candidate you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial, and industrial settings. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that facilities are hygienic and welcoming for all occupants.
Hours are Sunday- Thursday 5pm-1:30am
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out custodial duties in both residential and commercial spaces, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Engage in industrial cleaning procedures as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
- Execute residential painting tasks when necessary to enhance the appearance of properties.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning roles such as porter, custodian, or industrial cleaner is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving items as needed.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean environment and addressing any issues that arise during cleaning duties.
