Job Description

Purpose of Position

The goal of the marketing consultant is to generate leads for Castle Ventures’ cybersecurity solutions and services. The Marketing Consultant reports to the President.

Position Requirements

The Marketing Consultant is initially a part-time position to jump start our marketing efforts. Castle Ventures generates most of its business from customer and partner referrals. To support the company’s growth we need to become more proactive in generating new opportunities. These opportunities can come from new and existing clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Lead the development of a new web site.
Develop a company background for videoconferencing, such as Zoom calls.
Create marketing slicks for service offerings.
Coordinate the production and distribution of a regular newsletter.
Run email campaigns about our solutions and services.
Call clients to verify that they are getting our email blasts.
Manage social media posts; content will come from Castle Ventures staff.
Plan two in-person events in NYC.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

Must have practical experience in helping business-to-business companies complete marketing tasks.

Effective time management, verbal and written communication, decision-making, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.

Must be detail / process oriented and able to handle confidential information.

Must be well organized, requiring little or no supervision, must be flexible and willing to adjust to a varied schedule when needed, and must be able to prioritize tasks and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Aggressive, with the ability to get things done.

Computer and Skills

Need to be able to utilize Microsoft Office suite and publishing tools.

Email template development.
