The Deployment Manager will lead and manage the deployment of payment devices. This role involves overseeing a team of deployment professionals, ensuring effective prioritization of tasks, and delivering successful projects on time and within scope. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of deployment professionals to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative environment that supports professional growth and development.
- Direct the prioritization of deployment projects and tasks, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client needs.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and project success.
- Monitor workload distribution and address bottlenecks proactively.
- Oversee end-to-end deployment projects for payment systems, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to align with client requirements and company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Technical Support, and Product Development, to ensure seamless deployment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during deployment, addressing concerns and providing updates.
- Ensure the configuration, integration, and testing of payment solutions meet client specifications.
- Work closely with IT teams to address technical challenges and ensure systems are operational post-deployment.
- Identify opportunities to optimize deployment processes and improve efficiency.
- Document best practices and lessons learned to enhance future deployments.
- Ensure all deployments adhere to industry regulations, security protocols, and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field preferred
- 5 years of experience in deployment or project management, preferably within the payments industry.
- Proven experience managing and leading teams.
- Strong knowledge of payment technologies, including point-of-sale systems, payment gateways, and card processing.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information
Work Hours: This position is a full-time role working forty hours a week.
Travel Requirements: This position requires no travel.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be in an office setting. The work will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by video conferencing, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
