About the Course:
NUR 2055L - Health Assessment & Fundamentals is a part-time teaching position that requires a qualified instructor to teach a course that builds upon previous nursing and liberal arts coursework to develop a foundation for nursing practice.
The course focuses on developing an understanding of the complex needs of the populations to be served. Students will learn principles of the nursing process; person-centered and holistic care; communication; compassionate care; ethics; health promotion; identification and reduction of risk; basic elements of care and comfort; and quality and safety.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Teaching experience in secondary school or college
- An active unencumbered Vermont RN licensure or eligibility for an unencumbered Vermont license
- A valid driver's license
Salary and Benefits:
Hourly rate - $45 with a BSN if enrolled in an MSN program. $50 hour with an MSN.
