Woodhaven Custom Cabinets is seeking a talented and creative Kitchen Designer to join our team. As a Kitchen Designer, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and then create detailed designs using various software tools.
Duties:
- Collaborate with clients to determine their kitchen design requirements and preferences
- Create detailed kitchen designs using software such as 2020 and Sketchup
- Incorporate elements such as lighting design, cabinetry, countertops, and appliances into the kitchen design
- Provide clients with accurate cost estimates and help them stay within their budget
- Collaborate with cabinet shop and project managers to ensure proper implementation of the design
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in kitchen design
- Conduct site visits to take measurements and assess the space for design feasibility
- Present design concepts to clients and make necessary revisions based on their feedback
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and contracts for construction purposes
Skills

- Strong knowledge of kitchen design principles and practices
- Proficiency in software tools such as 2020, Sketchup, and Google drive suite
