Description :
We are looking for a Lead Drain Installer for our newest service line, Santa Clarita Plumbing and Water Heaters for Castleworks Home Services.
As the Lead Plumbing and Drain Installer, you are the backbone of our project execution team. You are entrusted with the highest level of duties across Plumbing or Drain Levels I, II, III, ensuring that rehabilitation projects are completed promptly and within budget. Your leadership is pivotal in driving the project’s progress and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The Lead also plays a key role in ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed.
The Lead Plumber / Lead Drainer is distinguished from Plumber / Drain Installers Level I, II, III, by its responsibility for providing lead work direction, guidance and training to plumbers and other designated employees in addition to performing the full range of plumber duties.
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Project Management : Oversee all aspects of plumbing and drain installation projects, ensuring that all materials, tools, and equipment are prepared and on-site for seamless execution and timely inspections. Monitors workflow to assist in ensuring that mandated deadlines are met in a safe manner.
Technical Expertise : Proficiently handle pipe bursting and line drain systems ranging from 3” to 6” piping on both private and public properties. Prepare and install AIPP coating for pipes from 2” to 4”. Ensures work complies with applicable plumbing and building codes.
Versatility : Execute a variety of tasks including water repipe, re-drain, pipe bursting, coating, lining, gas repipe, and rerouting of water, drain, or gas lines.
Installation Skills : Install whole house filters and tankless water heaters in both existing and new locations with precision and care.
Documentation : Utilize Service Titan to document project progress, including uploading videos for the patching crew, adding progress notes, and uploading before-and-after pictures of work.
Communication : Maintain daily updates on Service Titan, detailing completed tasks and outlining remaining work.
Team Development : Collaborate with the Manager to nurture the growth of Level I, II, III Installers by providing constructive feedback and guidance. Participate in training and provides day-to-day lead work direction to other Plumbers / Drain Installers.
Leadership : Serve as a positive role model and mentor to all installers, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork both on job sites and within the office environment. Assigns work; ensures conformance with safety. Provides information, guidance, and training on work procedures.
Requirements :
- Five years of lead-level plumbing / drain experience in plumbing and drain installation with a track record of leading successful projects.
- trong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in using Service Titan or similar project management software.
- Commitment to safety standards and regulations.
- Valid California Drivers License pursuant to company policy.
