We have a current opportunity for a IT Director - Americas at our Menomonee Falls, WI facility.

Position Overview

The IT Director – Americas is responsible for overseeing and managing the Americas region’s IT systems (infrastructure & applications), their operations and support (Mexico, North America, Canada). This role involves maintaining the local technology stack and application landscape in order to meet Castolin’s objectives. The successful candidate is also responsible for developing and supervising the regional IT Support agents and working closely with peers from other regions and business partners within the Americas region.

What You’ll Do

• Manage regional business applications, especially the local ERP systems in Canada, Mexico and US based on Infor LN and JD Edwards.
• Operations & Support Management: Ensure IT operations and support for all entities within the region to meet or surpass agreed KPI targets
• Maintain & Support onsite IT in all local offices including workplace management, meeting rooms equipment, printers, telephony and local networks as well as local business applications (JD Edwards, Infor LN)
• Manage Joiner / Mover / Leaver process in close alignment with HR
• Budget Management: Support in developing & controlling the regional IT budget
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships and contracts with primary vendors in the region to ensure quality of service
• Troubleshooting and Support: Oversee the resolution of IT issues, providing technical support to end-users and ensuring minimal downtime. This role will involve some hands on support.
• Project leader: Lead strategic projects on a local or regional level including the preparation and transformation to a new ERP System
• IT Security: Ensure local / regional compliance to corporate IT Security policies
  
  

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

• 3-5 years of experience in a management role, having evolved from an expert in IT Support, IT Administration or Application Management, with international and intercultural experience a plus
• BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field, MSc/MA a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership of distributed teams
• Experienced in Project Management
• A team player with high affinity to IT and to resolving issues in a fast paced environment
• A self-starter who takes ownership and knows how to prioritize
• Strong customer service and hands-on attitude with professional communication to users on all levels.
• Experience with working in ITSM tools like ServiceNow or FreshService and holding a strong foundation in ITIL best practices
• Expert knowledge in either one or all of the following: management, implementation, upgrade and rollout of ERP systems Infor LN / JDE / MS D365
• Administrating and supporting Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365. (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive etc.) as well as Azure Active Directory and MS PowerPlatform.
• Client PC management and support.
• General IT infrastructure knowledge: printing, server administration, storage management, patch management etc.
• General network knowledge: Cisco and Cisco Meraki suite a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the region as required (20% with overnight travel).
• Ability to learn new skills and keep knowledge up to date.
• Ability to work in a stationary/seated position
• Ability to carry and/or install equipment
