As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining efficient guest flow.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Maintain an organized seating chart and communicate with the serving staff regarding table availability.
- Assist with guest inquiries, providing information about the menu and restaurant services.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the host/host station and dining area.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest experience through effective communication.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other Point of Sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere.
