Castor Medical Transportation is searching for the right candidate to help get clients to and from their destination points. Our primary purpose is to ensure a safe and orderly transportation of clients on an assigned route.
Qualifications:
- Prior Medical Transportation experience and/or CNA certification is preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be 18 years old
- Ability to pass alcohol and drug test
- Ability to complete required vehicle driver safety training
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to to manage client behavior
- Ability to operate a vehicle
Major Responsibilities and Duties: Vehicle Operation
- Follow assigned route and adhere to established schedules
- Check vehicle for mechanical defects before and after each operation and notify supervisor of any needed repairs.
- Report all accidents, vehicle damage, client injuries, and mechanical failures. Complete required reports
- Keep records on vehicle mileage, gas and oil consumption, and number of passengers transported.
- Keep assigned vehicle clean and fueled
Experience Needed:
- None required- We can train the right candidate!
- Prior Medical Transportation experience and/or CNA certification is preferred.
- CPR Certified Preferred
- Pay is $17-$18 an hour (pay is based on applicant experience)
