Senior Auditor
We are seeking highly experienced and driven Senior Auditors to join our team. As a Senior Auditor, you will partner with client management to resolve audit problems and make recommendations for business and process improvements. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising audits, attestation engagements and/or compliance reviews for a variety of clients. You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff.

What will you do in this role:
- Carry out planning, fieldwork, and reporting procedures for performance audits, financial statement audits, desk reviews, grant reviews or agreed-upon procedure assignments.
- Review standard audit/examination/review programs and steps, previous work papers, reports, guidance material, draft audit reports with findings and conclusions on the engagement performed in accordance with agency procedures.
- Maintain work papers including preparation and finalization over planning, testing, and reporting as instructed or appropriate.
- Perform assigned engagement procedures such as testing of the auditee’s records for payroll, cash disbursement, grants, fund balance with treasury, revenue, etc.
- Check reports, records, ledgers, and other documents against invoices, receipts, payroll slips, and other source documents. Verify appropriateness of and determine that transactions have been properly recorded.
- Coordinate with the client and other team members, providing updates on the status of engagement assignments, sharing information, and identifying requisite revisions to the program and/or annual team goals.
- Prepare work papers, perform reconciliations, and analyze contractors’ data using automation tools.
- Manage and continually provide on the job training to assigned staff members.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience in auditing, attestation, and/or compliance reviews (Healthcare, Federal, State or Local Government Experience is a plus)
- CPA license preferred or CPA Candidate
- Fully bilingual
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a government suitability check (US Citizenship required)
