What You Will Do
- Evaluate IT General Controls (ITGCs) and application controls.
- Support IT audits by performing control testing and developing audit workpapers.
- Conduct IT risk assessments and assist in developing audit reports and findings.
- Participate in client meetings, documenting key discussions and action items.
- Assist in compliance assessments using NIST standards and frameworks (NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, RMF).
- Utilize industry tools such as Splunk, Nessus, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Defender.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT audit, internal controls, or related compliance work.
- Experience with ITGC testing, audit walkthroughs, and IT risk management.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as FISCAM, FISMA, or SOC 1 & 2.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (U.S. Citizenship required).
