What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician position at Castro Valley Unified School District?
The job of the Behavior Technician is done for the purpose/s of assisting the District Behavior Specialist (BCBA), working directly under the supervision of the Behavior Specialist and Director of Special Education. The Behavior Technician will provide support to staff and students through the implementation of behavioral interventions and data monitoring for special education students across multiple school sites. This position will assist in both case management duties and instruction/training to classroom and site staff and positive supports and behavioral skills that best support students in special education.

Experience: Two (2) years of experience utilizing behavior-analytic practices in an academic or therapeutic setting.
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
* Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
* First Aid/CPR (within the probationary period)
* CPI Blue Card (within the probationary period)
