Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by sanitizing surfaces and bussing dishes as needed.
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently, processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies, including condiments and utensils.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle financial transactions accurately.
