Front of House Host/Server

We are a casual sushi restaurant located in Kirkland and are seeking for a FT/PT FOH (Host, Server) position.

Job Descriptions:

• Greet customers with a warm and friendly welcome.
• Assist customers with ordering methods/procedures and confidently and kindly answer questions about dishes.
• Take and serve food & beverage orders.
• Handle orders using POS devices and process payments accurately.
• Support fellow servers as needed and collaborate with other restaurant staffs.
• Complete all opening and closing shift tasks efficiently.
• Respond to customer complaints or problems with a positive attitude

Qualifications:

• Must be punctual and reliable, able to follow instructions and be able to perform daily routine with consistency.
• Must be a team player who can interact positively with staffs and customers.
• Must be able to work legally in the U.S.
• Ability to lift items up 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms in front of body, lift, twist, crouch occasionally throughout shifts.
• Proven experience in a Sushi Restaurant or a food service restaurant setting is a plus.

Wage:

• Starting pay: $17.50 or up DOE Tips
