*The hourly pay rate for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience and credentials.
- The Veterinary Technician will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, performing laboratory tests, administering medications, and educating clients on animal health
- Assist veterinarians in the examination and treatment of animals
- Maintain medical records and prepare reports for veterinarians
- Provide surgical support and monitor anesthesia
- Provides outstanding customer service and time management skills
- Is respectful of all team members
- Communicate clearly with clients, doctors, and all staff members
- Collaborating with the practice manager to develop and execute educational programs for team members, focusing on enhancing clinical skills, client communication, and patient care.
- Assisting the practice manager in implementing new operational techniques and protocols to streamline workflow and optimize practice performance.
- Providing hands-on training and support to team members during the adoption of new technologies and operational procedures.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to veterinary medicine and practice management.
