Description
The Quality Manager is responsible for development, training, and maintaining Cat-i Glass’ Quality Management System (QMS). Furthermore, developing and implementing quality control plans, conducting inspections, analyzing data, and collaborating with teams to identify and resolve issues, ultimately ensuring that all outputs meet established quality standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- Be an active leader in an organization focused on driving operational improvements through Lean Manufacturing Concepts
- Drive process improvement and sustainment to reduce customer complaints and scrap, while improving overall operational effectiveness
- Ensure Cat-I Glass’ QMS is being followed by all (FBA).
- Manage/build customer relationships through efficient and positive resolution of customer issues.
- Act as an internal consultant and technical expert by understanding the impact that business changes have on the QMS and making the necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Training site personnel to ensure an understanding and adherence to QMS.
- Serving as a resource of information on compliance programs including RoHS, REACH and material composition and completing forms for customers or their representatives showing compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by Management by coordinating the collection of quality metrics, change requests and audit results.
- Manage calibration of measurement and test equipment
- Reviews Customer specifications
- Develops appropriate documentation and coordinates the PPAP requests with inspection personnel.
- Develop team members and promote teamwork across functions

- Lean Manufacturing Experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-10 years of experience in ISO/9001
- 5 years of Quality Management in a manufacturing/job shop.
- Proficiency in ERP Systems; preferably SaaS Epicor Kinetic software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Requires manual dexterity to handle glass parts, hand tools and knives.
- Tasks require lifting, standing, bending, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, and visually observing glass parts.
