The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety management and a proven ability to enhance workplace safety in the field.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and oversee robust safety programs that comply with DOT regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of field sites to ensure adherence to all safety protocols.
- Provide training and resources on both general construction safety practices and specific DOT-related guidelines.
- Investigate and analyze incidents or near-misses, developing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety excellence.
- Stay current with the latest developments in health, safety, and transportation regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, Transportation Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction safety coordination, with a strong emphasis on DOT compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage safety programs effectively in the field setting.
- Proven track record of reducing workplace injuries and enhancing transportation-related safety measures.
- Strong leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.
