Catalano's Welding is seeking a skilled Drafter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drafting and design, with proficiency in various CAD software. As a Drafter, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed schematics and technical drawings that support our design projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of mechanical designs.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks for Fabrication floor.
- Design of Structural bases, Piping, Seal gas systems, Instrument tubing, Electrical and P & ID's.
- Collaborate with Management and Customers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
Experience
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, is essential.
- Experience with mechanical design drafting is preferred.
- Familiarity with 2D techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- A degree or certification in drafting or a related field is Required.
