Pipefitter

Catalano's Welding is seeking a qualified pipe fitter and layout expertise.

Responsibilities:

• ability to read blueprints and fabricate complex piping systems.
• ability to Fabricate pressure vessels to ASME code.
• Install a variety of piping system specifications, which may include but are not limited to:
• Utilize some of the following joining methods for the installation of various piping systems (specific on-site requirements will be project dependent)
• fit pipe to specifications. It is expected that all fitters have detailed knowledge of standard industry practices to cut and measure all pieces for a given application.
• Layout, install, and assemble per detailed drawings and specifications.
• Work with management and other pipefitters & welders to accomplish daily tasks.
• Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet schedules utilizing knowledge of equipment capacities and assigned personnel.
• Engages in problem solving with team members and other personnel to keep production moving.
• work to a high standard of quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role in the welding industry.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and Quality.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficient in using hand tools, welding equipment, and tube bending techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
