Dietary Services Director

As a Dietary Services Lead you will

· Oversee the daily operations of multiple facilities

· Create and manage a rotating menu that reflects the preferences and dietary requirements of our residents

· Ensure compliance with all Washington State Food Service and Assisted Living WACs and regulations

· Oversee a team of cooks, including scheduling, training and disciplinary actions

· Conduct monthly culinary team meetings

· Complete inventory and input orders for four kitchens. Procuring the best products at the best available price from multiple vendors.

· Work closely with the administrative leaders to create and implement processes, procedures and protocols for the food department.

· Supervise food preparation and service at each location. May be necessary to work cook shifts when staffing shortages require it.

· Ensure standards of quality in food preparation and service.

· Conduct routine kitchen audits.

Requirements

·At least 5 years food service/cooking experience

· Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US

· Must pass a Washington State Background Check

·2 years of supervisor/manager experience, preferably in the food industry

·Moderate to heavy lifting and ability to stand/walk for extended periods

·Knowledge and efficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel Software

Compensation

·$25.00 to $27.00 per hr
