Position: Specialist II - Materials Management
Location: Madison, Wisconsin Biologics Facility
Shift: Sunday to Friday, 9:00pm to 5:00am CST
Compensation: $55,000 15% shift differential $5,000 sign on bonus

The Materials Management department is responsible for warehouse management, inventory control, work order management, incoming receipts, and domestic and international shipments of all items for Madison. This department follows approved materials SOPs for the Madison site. The Materials Management Team supports other departments in all materials needs, including staging materials for manufacturing.
The Specialist II - Materials Managementwill perform daily work assignments accurately, in a timely and safe manner. The position will have sound technical aptitude and perform multiple projects at a time. This position can work with moderate supervision
The Role:
- Support Manufacturing and Labs with materials replenishment reports
- Support Freezer/Cooler PMs as needed
- Using FEFO basis, pick, stock, verify identify, inventory, or deliver materials as needed
- Ability to complete inventory cycle count activities as requested
- Handle products using material handling equipment
- Strong Attention to detail necessary in a cGMP environment
- Maintain Inventory levels and associated records for materials
- Transport materials as needed or requested by supervisor between external local locations driving a straight truck
- Other duties as assigned
The Candidate:
- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience in a cGMP operations environment is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Wisconsin driver's license is required. Must be able to operate company owned transport vehicle as requested.
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment handheld scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) is preferred
- Prior cold storage material handling and alarm system monitoring & prior pharmaceutical or food manufacturing/processing, & cGMP experience, is preferred
- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams knowledge preferred
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds required
