Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture.  The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Distribution Coordinator. The Kansas City Distribution Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of clinical supply distribution across customer portfolio; ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOP).

This is a full-time, hourly role.   This is onsite.  This position is a 1st Shift role, Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm.

The Role:

• Coordinate and dispatch shipments of clinical trial material to clinical sites
• Process orders, assemble folders (on-site and offshore generated)
• Audit folders for accuracy against customer requests and source documentation
• Support same day, 24-hour, 48-hour, bulk, sample, Just-in-Time order requests
• Responsible for 95% completion of work to floor the day before and adhere to shift processing
  expectations set by supervisor.
• Support distribution execution group (Material Handlers, Shipping Associates) to resolve operational
  and document related issues
• Work with Quality, IT, Inventory and other Supply Chain functions to resolve issues in distribution
• All other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant industry or comparable knowledge and experience is required
• Associate degree is preferred
• Enterprise Research Planning (ERP) system experience is preferred; JD Edwards preferred
• Incumbents will be required to have a high-level attention to detail while managing multiple projects and/or priorities under tight deadlines
• Strong computer skills are required – (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel and ability to quickly learn new systems/programs)
• Knowledge and experience in cGMP and FDA regulations is preferred; Knowledge of exporting clinical trial materials is preferred
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form is required
• Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
